About Me

In 2020, I made the life-changing decision to transition from conventional medicine to holistic healing, after practising as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for nearly 20 years. This change was driven by my personal health struggles, including developing type 2 diabetes and undergoing a major surgery.

My journey led me to discover the power of holistic solutions.

As a mother to three grown-up children, and my own health struggles for many years, I understand the challenges that women face during perimenopause and menopause.

I live in the north east of the UK at the junction of picturesque county Durham and North Yorkshire. When I am not spending time with family, you can find me either curled up with a book or on a nature walk.

My Story

My own health struggles compelled me to seek out a healthier lifestyle and explore holistic solutions. Through adopting basic principles of good living, such as focusing on diet, exercise, sleep, and relaxation, I was able to reverse type 2 diabetes without medication alhamdulillah. This personal success ignited a passion within me to share the roadmap to good health with others.

I'm a voracious reader and an avid learner, always seeking new ways to connect with my clients and help them overcome their health struggles. As a spiritually connected individual, I believe that health and personal development should be aligned with our deen, and I ensure that all the modalities I use in coaching complements our religious values.

As a lifelong learner, I have delved into various holistic modalities, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), timeline resourcing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), meditation, and mindfulness. These powerful techniques have proven to be transformative for both myself and my clients.

I am committed to restoring balance in your life. Our bodies are innately designed to maintain equilibrium, and together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery. As your health coach, I combine my years of experience as a hospital doctor with motivating and questioning skills to guide you towards realistic health goals. We'll work hand-in-hand to achieve gradual, sustainable change, without resorting to crash diets or strict gym routines.

Through NLP and timeline resourcing, we can uncover and address deep-seated emotional blocks that may manifest as emotional eating, low self-esteem, and procrastination. By releasing these negative patterns, you'll experience mental clarity, increased energy, and better moods. Together, we'll work to create lasting changes that go beyond quick gains.

EFT, also known as tapping, is a remarkable tool for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalances. By tapping into your body's energy meridians, we can alleviate emotional burdens and pave the way for greater self-awareness. The outcome is enhanced mental well-being and an improved sense of self.
